New Hampshire Route 28, NH 16 to NH 171

Location: Route 28 and Route 16, Ossipee

Reassurance shield as Route 28 begins. At 85 miles, Route 28 is the seventh longest state highway in New Hampshire, and then connects to Mass. 28 which heads another 135 miles all the way to the outer reaches of Cape Cod, making it one of the longest (if not the longest) continuous state highways in New England.

Less than a mile later, we’ll approach Route 171.

Stay straight for 28 south and turn left and right for Route 171 in the upcoming roundabout.
