Stay straight to follow a local road over the Connecticut River into New Hampshire and US 3. Turn right to stay on Route 253 south.

As we come into Canaan, Route 253 ends as we approach Routes 102 and 114.

Stay straight for 102 south to Bloomfield. Turn left for Vermont 114 north, which is a quick connector to a bridge to US 3 in New Hampshire. Follow 114 south to Norton and Island Pond, Vermont.
