Vermont Route 100, VT 105 to VT 14

 

Location: Route 100 and W Main St, Newport

Reassurance shield as Vermont’s longest state highway begins, connecting to Route 14. This is also a truck route for Route 105 east.

Trucks using VT 105 east should follow 14 east. 14 east also connects to US 5 north.

Follow 100 south to Troy and Morrisville. Take 14 south to Coventry.

Turn right for 100 south and left for 14 south. Route 14 is no slouch itself – being the third longest state highway in Vermont. That puts it at 108 miles long, only half of VT 100’s 216 miles.
