A couple miles later, we’ll approach the turnoff to a ferry across Lake Champlain to Cumberland Head, N.Y. and NY Route 314. This is not part of either state’s highway system however, and VT 314 does not go to the ferry landing, so stay straight for 314 north to North Hero.

Soon thereafter, we’ll pass through the village of Grand Isle Station. We’re a mile from returning to US 2.

Follow 2 east back to South Hero. Take 2 west to Alburg.
