A mile later, as we near downtown Worcester, we’ll approach I-290 again. There is no access from 70 to 290 here – only from 290 to 70. That said, turn left ahead to connect to I-290 west via service roads. Stay straight for 70 south to Route 9, which is what the obscured sign says.
