That was…long. Anyway, I got the whole Chelan/Coulee area clinched, a huge part of Central Washington that I was concerned about (now we’ve just got the Spokane/Metaline Falls kind of area and we’ll be in happy shape!) ever being able to clinch.
Gas is expensive up there. $3.30 a gallon was kind of the normal price up there.
Anyway, it’ll be a while before I get all the photos up, I’ve got a lot on my table this week and I’m going to Arizona for the weekend.
I don’t really have any drives on the table at the moment, which is weird. I don’t want to drive too many more miles or I’ll be beyond a reasonable spectrum of miles. Daylight savings time is also coming, which is a pain, and th e day being only like 8 hours long makes it hard to accomplish much. I might get the ferry “drive” (519, 99, 104, and then the ferry sections of 160/304/305/104/339 if possible) done, but we’ll see. I’ll keep you updated.
It should be noted, however, that I am OVER HALFWAY DONE WITH THE STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM NOW. This is a huge accomplishment, but it needs to be remembered that the first half was a lot of low-hanging fruits. All the highway in the Seattle-Tacoma area. Now I’ve got to branch to the land that is eastern Washington. This is the hard part. Since I’m probably going abroad first semester of next year, it would then theoretically be the end of my junior year that I complete this.
I somehow doubt it will happen that quickly. Then again, if you told me I’d be at the halfway point in a semester and a half, I’d have thought you were kidding. I did the easy half. Now for the hard part, and here’s to a ton more miles of highways logged.
