Finally got everything up from the last drive. So weird that US-101 is the first major (i.e. cross-state US/Interstate Highway (or SR 20)) route I totally finish, I would have never guessed that (I-90, US-12, I-5 would all have come first), but that’s what it is, and I’m certainly happy about it.

Anyway, I’ve got another drive planned tentatively for Thursday. With the rain setting in and the days getting shorter, it appears that driving season is almost over. That said, I’m still going to try to keep driving, playing around the weather.

I wish I could drive next Friday, but that’s just not an option.

Right now, though, I’m planning the final of the Olympic drives, heading over to Ocean Shores/Tahloah.

Highways I will clinch:

  • SR 109
  • SR 109 SPUR
  • SR 115
  • SR 107
  • SR 106
  • SR 102
  • SR 3

so everything I drive I clinch (or have already completed)

So that’s the plan for Thursday. On the horizon, I’ve got some loose ends to tie up in King County, namely the overdue clinching of I-90 and SR 516, plus the other roads in that area I don’t have yet. Then there’s the northern drive, getting everything SR 96 and north (except SR 530, SR 542, and SR 20) west of the Cascades, and then the 506/505/504/508/122/US-12 clinching drive.
That’s what I’m reasonably expecting to get done by the end of Calendar year 2007 (given that I will be in Idaho during December), and that will give me a good footing. A trip across Eastern Washington via SR 20 is also in the works during that time period, but we’ll see what happens.  Also will have to drive home for Christmas, and that will bring more miles of new route.
