No reassurance shield as SR 180 begins. There is a theoretical plan to extend SR 180 west to I-5 and beyond to SR 25, but that has never actually happened. We’ll start at postmile 23 anyway, to allow for that westward extension.

Location: SR 180 and Belmont St, Mendota
Reassurance shield as we head out of Mendota.

Location: SR 180 and James Rd, Fresno Cty
Reassurance shield a few miles later.

Location: Whitesbridge Ave and Madera Ave, Kerman
A few miles later, we’ll clip the north edge of Kerman and approach SR 145. Turn right for 145 south and left for 145 north. Stay straight for 180 east.
