APM: 19
Location: SR 108 and Long Barn Rd, Tuolumne Cty
Mileage sign after 108 Business rejoins. At various times, California has wanted to make SR 108 an all-weather divided highway pass over the Sierras, so there are some random stretches of divided highway.

Location: SR 108 near Sonora Pass, Tuolumne Cty
Several miles later, we’ll climb out of the smoke and SR 108 becomes pretty scenic. SR 108 is probably the least exciting of the Sierras passes – I prefer 120 and 88.
