No signage as S-258 begins and we head out of Reserve. Funny story about this segment of highway – I thought I had clinched Montana in June of 2016, but in early 2020 somebody pointed out that I was missing this single mile of highway west of MT 16. I drove back up here in August 2020 to take care of this, so I can now really truly claim I’ve clinched Montana. I’ll be honest, this is a highly underwhelming mile of highway to have missed, especially since I had to drive up from Boise, Idaho over a weekend just to clinch it.
