You could follow old US 6/50 if you really wanted to, but it gets to be a pretty dicey road. Best to just follow the current alignment of 6/50 to I-70 west.

Just past where we’d turn left, there’s an “END US 6” sign and a “No Access to I-70” sign. Neither sign is accurate – you actually can access I-70 via old US 6, but it’s a bad idea. US 6 definitely does not end here though, it turns left to head down to I-70 on its trek to Bishop, Calif. US 50 will follow it down to I-70.

Location: US 6 and Hotel Cir, Mack, Mesa Cty
No reassurance shield after the turn. Mack ostensibly had hotels at some point in the past.

Just ahead, we’ll approach Interstate 70.

Turn right for I-70 and US 6/50 west, though 6/50 aren’t signed. US 6 stays with I-70 to just past Green River, Utah, while US 50 will stay with I-70 all the way to Salina, Utah.
