WYO 220 is now carrying almost all traffic from Laramie to San Francisco that’s Casper bound, making this arguably the most important stretch of state highway in the state (definitely if you exclude WYO 789, which is usually bannered with a  US Route anyway)

In 3/4 of a mile, we’ll approach WYO 257, which is the newest state highway in Wyoming, having opened in 2015. It serves as a westerly bypass of Casper, heading north up to US 20/26, which connects to I-25/US 87.
