Reassurance shield after Table Rock. I remember when driivng from Chicago to Boise with my family to 1997 we saw prominently on the map “Red Desert” and “Table Rock” and assumed they were towns. Table Rock is an abandoned gas station. It was abandoned in 1997 too. None of us ever having driven on rural western interstates, we were shocked

We come to a junction with Wyoming 789, the last trace of a former 4-state MSR 789 that ran from Canada to Mexico along a disapproved US-789 corridor. Currently 789 exists only in Wyoming and is still signed religiously. It will jion I-80 east for several miles or head south to Colorado
