Just before crossing the Missouri River into downtown we’re told of a junction with I-70 coming up in 2 miles

As we cross the Missouri, we get this information. Bear left for 70 east/40 east/71 south, bear right for 35 south/70 west/40 west/unmarked 24 west. US-24 isn’t marked here presumably because its independent segment to the east is inaccessible if you hit the junction from this direction and it would clutter the sign and potentially cause confusion to list it westbound
