British Columbia Highway 1, BC-23 to BC-95

No reassurance shield after the 23 split as we head out of Revelstoke.

BC 1 is built into the side of the mountains as we parallel the Illecillewaet River.

A few km later, we’ll enter Canada’s Glacier National Park, not to be confused with the one in America a few hundred kilometers south of here.

As we pass through Glacier we’ll climb over Rogers Pass.

Keep right to stay on 1 east as we pass by a weigh station.

Reassurance shield as we enter Golden.

As we pass across the north side of Golden we’ll approach BC 95.

Turn right for 95 south into downtown Golden. This is the northern terminus of BC 95, which itself is a continuation of US 95. The two routes head all the way to the Mexican border at San Luis, Arizona.
