There are two passes accessible from this area- Lemhi Pass, which follows a non-state highway, and Bannock Pass, which follows state routes. Both are unpaved, and 324’s pavement will end here, shortly after the turnoff to Lemhi Pass.

Five miles later, as we gradually climb, we’ll reach Bannock Summit. Idaho begins on the other side of the fence, and the road turns into State Highway 29.
