Reassurance shield as Nevada 375 begins.
Location: SR 375 and SR 318, Lincoln Cty
Because of 375’s proximity to Area 51, this highway is known as the Extraterrestrial Highway. This sign is pretty well-stickered,though, to the point that it’s tough to tell what it says.
Location: SR 375 and SR 318, Lincoln Hwy
This one of the most “fun” state highways in the country though – in that the entire road is a wonderful tourist trap. 49 miles to the highlight – the Little A’Le’Inn in Rachel.

The highlight of 375 is the Little A’le’Inn – a kitschy restaurant/hotel that leans heavily into the alien motif. I had breakfast here. It was good.
Location: SR 375 at the Lincoln County Line, Nye Cty
Several miles later, we’ll enter Nye County.
Location: SR 375 and County Rd, Nye Cty
There aren’t many SR 375 shields – presumably sign theft is an issue on this corridor. Bishop, Calif. and Reno are control cities though, so that’s neat!
Location: SR 375 and US 6, Nye Cty
Several miles later, we’ll approach US 6.
