Just after the southern 271 junction, the 101 freeway will end again.

Location: US 101 and Rosewarne Rd, Mendocino Cty
A mile later, we’ll approach a short unrelinquished portion of an old alignment of US 101. Turn left to follow that to Rosewarne Rd. Until 2012 or so, 101 stayed on the west side of the Eel River south of here, but now it crosses the river on two bridges over the next mile or so.
