64 and 162 both go to Kamiah, but 64 heads down a steep, unpaved grade. Trucks are told to turn right for 162.

SH-62 ends. Stay straight for 64, turn right for 162. All three routes end at this intersection, which seems silly until you look back at the history. In the past, 62 ended up north at the Russell Ridge intersection, with Highway 7 continuing down. 7 then continued south for a good chunk of SH-162’s length.
