A few kilometers later, we’ll actually head well into Alberta. Turn right for a former secondary highway over to Paradise Valley. Stay straight for 17 south, only signed as SK-17 despite how far we are into Alberta.

Follow that road to Paradise Valley- apparently Saskatchewan is still in charge of signs here.

A few clicks later, we’ll approach Alberta 14. Follow 14 east to SK-40 and the Battlefords. Take 14 west to Wainwright and Provost. The 17s will join 14 for about 2 km.
