CT 174 actually begins just after this light, but there’s no direct access from 174 to 9 – only from 9 to 174. Traffic headed to 9 south should turn right onto 71 south and traffic headed to 9 north should stay straight under the overpass. There is no connection between 174 and 72 – but this is part of a larger interchange with 9 and 72.
