Welcome to Arizona! Interstate 15 barely enters Arizona, traversing only the northwest corner of the state for thirty miles. No paved roads connect this portion of the state to the rest of the state.<\/p>\n

Arizona is 100 years old for 2012, so at all state-maintained state line crossings and at the entrances to major cities, these signs have been erected. By 2018, they were taken down.<\/p>\n

Reassurance shield after Black Rock Road, one of only four interchanges along the thirty \u00a0mile I-15 Arizona stretch. When they did their most recent sign replacement, they neutered everything.<\/p>\n

A few miles later, we’ll approach the only settlement in this area, the town of Littlefield. Littlefield is served by Mohave County Road 91, which is old US-91. Residents of this area associate more with Mesquite and Nevada than the rest of Arizona.<\/p>\n

Mesquite, Nevada is right on the Arizona line, so we’ll start to get advance signage for its former business loop in Arizona. ADOT just keeps replacing the signs, but there hasn’t been a business loop in Mesquite for years.<\/p>\n
