State maintenance of SR 714 ends about right here where the rumble strip in the center line ends. The road continues as SR 714, but under town maintenance &#8211; making this the only town maintained State Road in CT &#8211; which is an odd distinction since the state roads are not signed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corcohighways.org\/highways\/ct\/714\/8toend\/5.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>AMP: <\/strong>0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Location<\/strong>: Bridgeport Ave and Huntington St, Shelton<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Turn left at the light in the distance to connect to CT 8 .
