\nStay straight for CT 343 west towards Amenia, N.Y. CT 343 is numbered 343 instead of just being an extension of CT 4 in order to be consistent with N.Y. Touring Route 343 on the other side of the border – Connecticut is deathly allergic to route number changes at the border.
