The Roosevelt Sequoia Tree in the background was planted (not by any Roosevelts) to commemorate the road opening.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corcohighways.org\/highways\/ca\/395\/136to168\/7.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>APM: <\/strong>100<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Location<\/strong>: US 395 and SR 168, Big Pine<br \/>\nSR 168 is a pretty twisty road, with several one lane segments. Big trucks are not advised.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corcohighways.org\/highways\/ca\/395\/136to168\/8.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>APM: <\/strong>100<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Location<\/strong>: US 395 and SR 168, Big Pine<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Stay straight for 395 north and 168 west, which run concurrent to Bishop.
