As we enter the Cache Valley and Franklin County, we’ll pick up the Mormon county road numbering scheme, with its oh too logical grids. We’re into thick Mormon country here- Logan UT is one of the (if not the) most Mormon cities in Utah\/the world, and we’re just 30 miles north and within the same valley at this point<\/p>\n

A few miles later, we’ll enter Preston, home of Napoleon Dynamite<\/em>. I looked pretty carefully within the town- six years after the fact there is no indication that the movie was filmed here<\/p>\n

Just after we enter Preston, we’ll approach Idahos 34 and 36<\/p>\n

Turn left for 34 North and 36 East. Stay straight for 91 South and 36 West. The two routes will concur through Preston. 34 will end here<\/p>\n

Follow 91 South and 36 West towards Logan Utah, 34 North towards Soda Springs, and 36 East towards Montpelier<\/p>\n

Turn left for 34 North\/36 West. 34 North takes a circuitous path that eventually lands it in Wyoming’s Star Valley, near Freedom WY. Idaho 36 East heads to Montpelier, while 91 South and 36 West will head in to the main part of Preston<\/p>\n
