The actual town of Whistler is still 8 km away, but the area is much larger than the town.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corcohighways.org\/highways\/bc\/99\/1to12\/9.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"868\" height=\"587\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Location<\/strong>: BC 99 and Lorimer Rd, Whistler<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">As we pass by the town of Whistler we are not reassured. We&#8217;re 32 km from Pemberton.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corcohighways.org\/highways\/bc\/99\/1to12\/10.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1149\" height=\"505\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Location<\/strong>: BC 99 and Park St, Pemberton<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">30 unsigned kilometers later, we&#8217;ll enter Pemberton.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corcohighways.org\/highways\/bc\/99\/1to12\/11.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Location<\/strong>: BC 99 and Vine Rd, Pemberton<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Reassurance shield as we enter Pemberton. Turn left at the light to head into downtown. Stay straight to stay on 99.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corcohighways.org\/highways\/bc\/99\/1to12\/12.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Location<\/strong>: BC 99 and Pemberton Portage Rd, Mt Currie, Squamish-Lillooet RD<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">As we head out of Pemberton, BC 99 prepares to make a 90 degree turn.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.corcohighways.org\/highways\/bc\/99\/1to12\/13.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Location<\/strong>: BC 99 and Pemberton Portage Rd, Mt Curie, Squamish-Lillooet RD<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Turn right to stay on 99 north towards Lillooet.
