SR 238’s intersection with SRs 92 and 185 is weird through here, encompassing several blocks. Anyway, turn right here onto A St to head towards I-880 and SR 92. SR 238 traffic turns right as well.<\/p>\n

Traffic is forced to turn onto A St to connect to SRs 92 and 185.<\/p>\n

As we approach Mission Blvd, we’ll come to a junction with SR 185. Turn right for SR 185 north. Turn left for SR 238 east. Turning left may also be SR 185 south – it is legislatively defined as ending at SR 92 but this portion was relinquished to the city of Hayward with the requirement to\u00a0maintain signs wdirecting motorists to the continuation of Route 185 or to the state highway system, as applicable. That last “or to the state highway system, as applicable” is unique and tells me that it may not actually be statutorily necessary for 185 south to continue here, so SR 185 may end here since there is no further 185 signage. It could go either way though, and as I’ve also clinched 238 over that segment I’ve clinched the route either way.<\/p>\n
