Reassurance shield at the beginning of SR 99. If I had to pick a road that reminds me of Wyoming, it’s this stretch from here to 87- random spur out on the high plains in the middle of nowhere. This shot could easily be in Wyoming instead of Arizona.

This is where 99 gets weird. It inexplicably follows 87 through Winslow and then I-40 out of town before resuming as another random spur up to Leupp. I have no idea why it’s not two separate highways.
