A couple clicks later we’ll enter Chemainus, which is the main purpose of Route 1A.

As we enter Chemainus we’ll approach a roundabout.

After the roundabout, stay on 1A for downtown Chemainus.

As we head out of Chemainus, follow Henry Road to Route 1. BC 1A stays on old Chemainus Road for a bit longer.

Stay on Chemainus Rd for BC 1A and Crofton.
Location: Chemainus Rd and Mt Sicker Rd, Cowichan Valley RD
A few kilometers later, we’ll approach Mt Sicker Rd. Turn right to follow 1A to BC 1.

Just after the turn, we’ll approach BC 1. Follow 1 north to Ladysmith and Nanaimo. 1 south heads to Duncan. BC 1A ends.
