As SR 273 (old US 99) begins, we’re advised to turn right to connect back to I-5 south.

Shortly thereafter we’ll approach Buenaventura Blvd, a locally-maintained bypass to SR 299 west.

Turn right for SR 44 east to I-5. Stay straight to access SR 299. 44 and 273 have a useless concurrency to 299 before 44 ends.
