No reassurance shield as North Dakota 1804 begins. ND 1804 is an interesting route, generally following the east bank of the Missouri River as a sort of secondary scenic route. It continues into South Dakota as SD 1804.

Turn right for ND 58 south to Fairview, Mont. and Sidney, Mont. Now that 327 is paved, this is the fastest route from Bainville to Sidney. Turn left for 1804 east to Williston.
