As we approach Onion Lake and the provinicial boundary, we’ll approach AB/SK 17. This is the northern terminus of the joint-maintenance route that heads down to Macklin, Saskatchewan, more or less following the provincial line for most of its routing.

Turn right for AB/SK 17 south. Stay straight to head into the town of Onion Lake, Saskatchewan. The intersection is the provincial line. 641 ends here.
